Description |
Ballantine's Ale can, found in the walls of the house at 17 Becker Lane during the 2002-2003 restoration. Can is made from tin, with a coppery color on the outside. Outside bears the logo of the Ballantine Brewery, from Newark, New Jersey. Included with this accession is paperwork about the Ballantine Radio Show, called "3-Ring Time" (ran from 9/12/1941 for 39 weeks). Ballantine's Logo is copyrighted 1935. Can is one of a number of objects found at the same time, in the same way. Objects are catalogued together due to their provenance. |
