Description

Small glass jar, found in the walls of the house at 17 Becker Lane during the 2002-2003 restoration. Clear glass jar, round, with dirt adhered to the inside walls. Jar has a faint maker's mark on the bottom, and an anchor-shaped mark and the number 140 at the bottom of the side wall. Jar has no cap.

Jar is one of a number of objects found at the same time, in the same way. Objects are catalogued together due to their provenance. Further research and comparison with the other objects in the cache should help shed light on this.
