Bottle has a brown and light green (may have faded) paper lable advertising its former contents. Product's name was "Citro-Thiocol" and its main ingredients were codeine phosphate (an opium derivative) and chloroform. The company which produced Citro-Thiocol was Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc., Nutley, New Jersey. Bottle is made of clear glass. Bottle is one of a number of objects found at the same time, in the same way. Objects are catalogued together due to their provenance. Further research and comparison with the other objects in the cache should help shed light on this. |
