Cannonball with pellets inside. Cannonball has a hole on top. Label with item: "Cannon Ball fired from a Bristish ship into the roof of a house in New Castle at the beginning of the Revolution." Cannonball was gifted to the Portsmouth Historical Society by Gerald Amazeen. Includes family story of the Amazeen cannonball written by Paul Amazeen.
