Piscataqua Cafe building sits on stilts at the edge of the water. Small boats moored in foreground. Naval Prison in background. It was built in 1898 by Luther Amazeen and is currently owned by Paul and Caroline Amazeen and is located on Cape Road. It was built as an inn and restaurant. Originally, and up until the hurricane of 1954, this building also had a long pier.

The Piscataqua Cafe, River Road, New Castle. Sign under the picture says, 'circa 1960.' Writing on back of the picture says, "April 5, 1973." There was a wharf attached to Ray Amazeen's Cafe which washed away in Hurricane Carol in 1954. The stonework in the foreground is probably part of Oliver Marvin's wharf.
