Town memorandum book for 1757. Booklet is made from folded paper secured with a pin and contains eight pages (including cover), nearly all of which are written on both sides. Second page clarifies that the booklet contains lists of taxes for the town to be collected by Stephen Barton.

Photocopy of an article from The Granite Monthly dated July 1914 titled: "Pioneers of Little Harbor and Vicinity" by J. M. Moses. The piece includes some information about early settlers of New Castle, however the majority is about Rye settlement. Names of early New Castle settlers included in the piece are noted in the people file.
